Movie ticket prices are fair, food prices are fair, alcohol prices are fair, however, the quality of these things are what make the Alamo Drafthouse remarkable. Their stringent "no disruptions during the movie" policy ensures a quiet audience. The food is delicious; I have yet to have anything bad. The option to drink at a theatre is an exceptional notion. Best movie theatre in the region.

Love this place! It's definitely one of the best places to see a movie in the area. Prices for tickets are affordable. The theater is usually very clean. Huge movie screens. Seats are very comfortable. The best part of this theater experience is that you get to eat food and drink adult beverages as you are watching the movie. Wait staff was quick and helpful every time I have visited. Prices for the food and drinks are a little bit expensive but not outrageous. It's also nice that when you purchase tickets online or at the theater that you can pick where you sit before you are actually in the theater. The only bad things about this place is it gets very busy and crowded, many times I have came here and the movie showing has been sold out.

The movie and seating were GREAT, not too big on the menu though. Stick with the Popcorn in my opinion.

This is the best movie theatre in the Shenandoah Valley. It isn't the cheapest but it's the nicest. It's clean, the staff is friendly and they show a wide variety of movies. They have a large food menu including vegan items. The prices are $-$$. They also serve adult beverages and there is a bar in the main lobby. This place is good for individuals, couples, and families.

Nice tap selection. Foods decent and reasonably priced. Not the best ever but better than spending 50$ on some frozen Tyson chicken tenders at a regal. the strictly enforced no phones no talking rules make this the go to place to watch movie

What's not to love? Beer? Yes please. Also wine, liquor, soft drinks, etc. Food? Sure, they have that. It isn't anything to rave about, but it's a lot better than standard movie theater fare. Oh, and don't forget the movie? That would be nice. Put them all together, and it makes quite the enjoyable experience.

Went and watched Jumanji the next level. Alamo prices are better than the mall movie theater and offer a nice menu. Theater itself is smaller than most but overall good experience.

Went to see IT Chapter 2 and it was amazing. They even added new things to their menu which was a surprise. We go to the Alamo all the time it's a great place to take the kids or just a great place for Me and My Husband to have a Date Night. Great food and drinks. And the sitting is very comfortable. And the servers are ALWAYS very nice and one time when you place your cards in the holders.

The Alamo has a nice selection of food to eat. The seats feel nice, but if you are tall like me, they cause some neck pain

This place is an absolutely unique experience to watch a movie. I wish there were more of these in other small towns like Winchester, but I definitely recommend it!

The Alamo Drafthouse is hands down the best theater chain in the country. Great drinks, great food, and the best policies to provide a quality theater-going experience. The Winchester location is no exception to this, and have super friendly and helpful staff to boot. I cannot recommend this place enough.

We had a super fun time, sitting at the front bar waiting for our movie, nice bartenders, GREAT beer (it was a coffee stout brewed I. Winchester) in an AWESOME Alamo growler. The Rocky Horror Picture Show Annual Halloween show was fun. They gave us props to throw and use during the show. And other than the loud mouth drunk guy that came into our 11:45 showing when his 11:30 showing ended, we had a blast, with the props and shout-outs and singing and dancing and jokes and other fun people. The employees were great and I LOVE the setup where they serve you right at your seat! They were VERY attentive, and their food was delicious! 2 words...FRIED...PICKLES!!!

One of my favorite places to go and watch movies! I think it’s one of the best places to go and see a movie for a reasonable price. Not to mention, you don’t have to go out to eat before or after the movie - you can just order from the menu! If you haven’t come previously gone in, I suggest you give it a try.

Food was excellent! Try the Pizza and The chocolate chip cookies! The only thing I would change is the seats. They need to be a little larger and recline.

Place is great. Tickets are cheap and having draft beer, wine and food delivered to your seat is awesome

Great place to see a movie and order a meal while never leaving your seat. We went to the polar express special showing. They had a conductor at the entrance calling all aboard to the kids and handing out packets with a ticket and bell and other goodies like in the movie and then she came around to punch tickets. It was a great experience for the kids. We all had a good time. They even had a star wars themed menu for the upcoming Skywalker movie, I had the trash compactor pizza:)

Never had a problem. Love the bottomless popcorn. Can be a bit pricey but it's always worth it.

The Alamo Drafthouse is 100% the best place to watch a movie in North Virginia. The theaters are large and have very comfy chairs. The theater includes food and drinks that you can order while you watch the movie, while the attendants quietly sneak around and deliver your food. The atmosphere before the movie is great, with instead of a lot of boring ads, they play relevant clips to the movie you're currently watching and other clips from older movies. Everything about the theater is great and I'd definitely recommend coming here to watch a movie and grab a bite to eat.

Great place for a movie (and beer/food since you're coming here). Attended a special Twin Peaks movie event, Q&A, meet & greet, and it was the best!!! Can't believe they get the events they do in Winchester!

Amazing place for a dinner and a movie. Food is EXCELLENT and their choices of drinks are also very nice. Servers are very polite and helpful and also courteous while the movie ia in. All around the best dinner and a movie experience EVER

Very nice. A better implementation and kitchen than some others movie-tavern combos. Staff was friendly enough to explain the ropes to us before we got seated. Menus are stored every couple of seats under the "table". There is also a small light so you can see the menu or the check under the table.Seats were comfortable.

The Alamo Drafthouse is my number one choice for a date-day afternoon/evening movie. The service is awesome, the prices are fair, and the experience is overall enjoyable every time.

Love this place! Staff is friendly and fast. The food is very good. Enjoyed being lazy ordering from our seats in the theater and getting everything delivered. Food is served on real plates and drinks are served in real glass. Best theater I’ve ever been to. I’ll be looking for one near where I live.

Great food. Great prices. My favorite place for date night. The only complaint I could have, if I was being nit picky, would be that the seats are a little close together to be eating the type of food you can be served. But as long as you're careful of other people's personal space, your night will be one to remember.

Service was very slow and poor. Maybe because it was Christmas Day and they were short-handed. I don’t know. The salad I ordered was NEVER brought to me but it sure did show up on the bill. Got the bill corrected but not even an apology was offered. Very disappointed. Will think twice before going here again.

My wife and I were visiting our daughter in Virginia. We had never been to a Alamo theater. We all enjoyed the experience. The food, shakes and adult beverages were also very good. The aisles are wide with plenty of leg room, seats are roomy. A very relaxing two hours. I'll definitely go to this theater again.

I was very thankful to receive a gift card to take my mom to the movies. The staff were very helpful and courteous. The food did seem overpriced for the servings and quality but the staff were good. We enjoyed dining and watching a movie at the same time.

This is the perfect place for a date night with my husband or a family date night with us & our children. Some say it's expensive but my opinion we would pay the same if we went to a restaurant to eat the movie is the extra bonus. Movie, dinner, adult drinks, special drinks for the kids and comfy seats! My first time in a theatre like this. Thought it was great. Food was great as well. Have to admit that others in party did say that most have reclining chairs now. Feel like I'd fall asleep if that was the case. Especially with a full stomach and a beer or two in me.

I drove all the way from DC to watch Empire Strikes Back in a theater. I know its not the norm but my family got to have a private screening of the film because no one else showed up.

I had never been to a Alamo. Great service. The food was great especially refills brought to your seat. My only complaint is that...the seats. Really really bad for today's standards. I love the AMC recliners and Alamo needs to invest and upgrade.

Best movie theater experience I've ever had! The food and service was excellent, and the theater itself had very comfortable seats and was very well maintained. Would highly recommend to everyone.

Bravo to the owners, staff and customers in these times of Covid. Everyone was practicing social distancing, food and beverages served with safety measures in place, everyone was wearing masks. Thank you for a great movie experience.

Go here instead of the Apple Blossom mall theatre if you can. Tables, so more leg room; the food and drinks are delivered, so you don't miss the movie; they actually employ enough people, so your not waiting on line forever; the online tickets do not need an employee to be printed, and they don't need to be printed, so you can cut the line entirely. They don't tell you the movie starts 30 minutes earlier than it actually does to show you adds; and I'm sure there's more I'm not thinking of. Yes all of these are direct comparisons to the apple Blossom mall. There are definitely other good things that both places have, but these are the things that the mall one doesn't have.

First time hubby took me to see star wars. Movie was great...not sure I like ppl bothering me during the movie while I'm eating. Too many distractions. Servers going by every second. I'm short so they were always in my view.

Very Clean. Able to see screen fully even with wait staff moving about during movie. Food is standard American fare; moderate pricing. Food tastes good. Great sound. Seats are very comfortable. I attended in afternoon. If you want a MOVIE date night this is a definite cut above. Lovely bar in front of the house. Would definitely recommend.

First time here. It was very nice. We saw How to Train Your Dragon: Hidden World. The show was perfect. Audio and video was perfect. The staff was very friendly, and the food was good. We only got snacks... Popcorn and drinks and mozzarella sticks, but they have a much larger menu. Might make a meal of it the next time we go. It's a little pricey... But isn't all theater food? The extra comfy seats kinda make up for it.

Theater environment was as expected. Service was decent, but not consistent. If you dont get your order ticket up quick enough, it may be a while before it is noticed. Order your refill before you're empty. Good place to take the kids!
